Welcome to McKeown Captures. By accessing this website or booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

McKeown Captures offers professional photography services, including but not limited to portraits, weddings, performance, and graduation photography. All services are subject to availability and are confirmed via email communication after a form submission.

2. Booking Process

  • Inquiries are submitted through the website’s contact form.

  • Bookings are confirmed via email between McKeown Captures and the client.

  • A date is not secured until confirmation is given in writing via email.

  • Depending on the scope of the session, a deposit or retainer may be required to hold your date. This will be clearly stated during the booking process.​

3. Payments & Deposits

  • All fees, including deposits, will be communicated clearly through email prior to confirmation.

  • Final payment is typically due on or before the session date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may request to reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. McKeown Captures will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid.

  • McKeown Captures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, weather, or emergencies) and will offer a full refund or an alternate date in such cases.

5. Image Delivery & Use

  • Edited digital images will be delivered within the agreed timeframe, typically within 2–3 weeks.

  • Image quantity and format will be outlined in the confirmation email.

  • RAW (unedited) files are not provided unless otherwise agreed upon.

6. Copyright & Usage

  • McKeown Captures retains full copyright to all images captured.

  • Clients receive personal usage rights to share, print, and display their images for non-commercial purposes.

  • Commercial usage, resale, or modification of images without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

  • McKeown Captures may use select images for promotional use (e.g., website, portfolio, social media) unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

7. Client Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for arriving on time, prepared, and with all necessary items or people for the shoot.

  • If the client is more than 20 minutes late without communication, the session may be canceled or shortened at the photographer’s discretion.

8. Website Content

All content on this website (photos, text, branding) is the intellectual property of McKeown Captures and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a smooth and professional experience, McKeown Captures is not liable for:

  • Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, equipment failure)

  • Loss or damage of photos due to unforeseeable incidents

  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from service use

10. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or booking services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. McKeown Captures reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
